Whether you’re planning on working in Audit beyond articles or not, your CTA Auditing knowledge adds so much value to your future career. The integration of your undergraduate topics may seem intimidating at first, but it means you get really great practice at assessing risks in a finance environment (whether they’re audit risks or not!), developing and monitoring control systems (in a manual and computerised environment), communicating strengths and weaknesses to management, and learning to address risks and solve them. All of these skills are incredibly valuable in any audit, or corporate environment!
Bronwyn and Yvonne are incredibly passionate about Auditing, (mainly because of the skills discussed above!), and we believe that their enthusiasm and passion will be contagious.
Online Videos and Notes
Our lecturers are great at simplifying concepts, with our videos explaining your work with the focus on your exam outcomes, and walking you through your exam technique. Both Yvonne and Bronwyn have lectured Auditing at CTA for years, so they’re perfectly placed to help you get through CTA successfully.
We realise that students struggle with some topics from their undergraduate studies (like Risk assessment and Audit Planning!), so we’ve added revision content as well. The beauty is that you get to control what you revise, and what you don’t. You can go back where you need, or stick to the CTA content if that’s all you need.
Exam Technique Videos
We also walk you through how to do exam-type questions and past papers. Our videos will help you with your communication skills, planning of answers, to ensure you’re totally prepared for your exams.
Our lecturers are available on our discussion forums to answer your queries, motivate you… and yes… check up on you!
Your Open Books
We’ll show you how to tag, highlight and use those open books to your advantage. This is a great skill, and for Auditing… there are real marks hiding away in those ISA’s… we’re going to show you how to get them!
